::Hate is a very strong word::

Relationships in general fall apart because as people, we all tend to look for the wrong things and go into relationships for the wrong reasons. And we place unreasonable expectations on relationships. For example, the expectation of permanence in a relationship. Nothing lasts forever. Everything changes. We evolve. Not always at the same pace as the people around us, obviously. Truth is, people change and with that, so do their needs in a relationship...but we still expect permanence. As such, when the person with whom we're involved in the relationship changes, we can feel betrayed. There's always that risk.

But are we really being betrayed by the other person? No.

Because the other person has No responsibility to provide anyone else with hapiness and companionship. Our only responsibility, ultimately, is to ourselves. The feeling of "betrayal" comes in when one or the other of the people involved expects the other person involved to be responsible for their happiness. The behaviour that we can exhibit in this circumstance does not trivialize love, because it does not originate from love. It comes from fear.

The only thing you can count on is the moment you're in. Beyond that, we're really not even entitled to expect that we're going to breathe in another breath after the one we're currently exhaling, let alone to expect another person to be there to satisfy our needs forever, or even for a little while. All we can do is realize and appreciate the blessing of having other people's paths converge with ours while they do and wish them well on their way when it's time for us to move forward again.

For something you expected yours, you took for granted that will stay when you were gone. I ask only for you to be happy for me.

I slept a dreamless dream that night, exhausted from beginning my
day so early, and sleeping so poorly the night before. They should
be different, I thought. I should be afraid - I knew I should be,
but I couldn't feel the right kind of fear. That had always been

As a matter of fact, I've been in love with 2 things for the past week.
First, our new guitar hero band set and secondly, my Edward Cullen.
To be really honest, there was a third thing that kept my thoughts
pretty much occupied. I couldn't tell if it was confusion or happiness.
Everything just caught me by surprise and before I could even stop to see
it for myself, there it already was. I was talking to my best friend just
a while ago and it never fails to amaze me to how similar our personalities
were. I felt as if I was talking to my other half really. It's been a
crazy one week to close the ending of the holidays and the beginning
of a new semester. You would have thought I was out of my mind making late night
phone calls and text messages. I haven't been sleeping.

I wish I could share more personally but it's hard when people get so
judgemental on alot of things. I managed to straightened myself out finally.
Go with the flow. I'll see where it'll take me.

Yes indeed, I've moved on and I'm genuinely happy. And all that I knew when
I found I had room to love another.

Been M.I.A ever since holidays started. Everyday is packed with work and play. LOL. This is what i call Life! :) Fiona was here for a short visit from Nz. I love having girlfriends around! I am looking forward to the many many friends who are coming to visit meeeeee this June and July! woo hoo!

Spent the day with my beloved Jonathan yesterday, tsk tsk such camwhores. LOL. Leaving that aside, have u sometimes felt like u know someone but found out such a big part from someone else after a certain time? I really hate feeling that way. I still don't understand why, but not that it's my problem anyway but but but why lie to your very own friends? haha.. Maybe I don't know you after all. and I don't care anymore.

Okok enough rantings. It's boring I know.

on a much much brighter note, i'm going to watch TRANSFORMERS tomoro night at IMAX in 3D! and on Friday, I'm going to support this one alien friend who just got a job promoting a new club called Bowlfish. ( Yayo.. I might change my mind but we'll see how things go! )

We're also celebrating my girlfriend, Queen's 23rd birthday this Sunday, and on Saturday Ciaro and I are baking a strawberry cheesecake as requested by Queen. I hope things go well cos well... if u know me.. u'll know how much i suck in these things. :) hee hee!

Caught up with my dear friends, spent the hour talking to Jo on the cell, spent the night talking to Alana on Skype, spent the afternoon drinking tea with friends, Spent the morning talking to my bro and texting my sister. How good can life get. I always believe that you hold the key to your own hapiness. U either choose to be happy or dwell on your own sadness. There are limitations to what friends can do for you. Don't push it too far. Cos if you go past your boundaries, people walk away.

The last few days have been pretty emotional for me. It was a very hectic last week in Kuching. I think I left my heart back home. Suddenly being back in Melbourne just feels different. It feels different without you.

Donkey, thanks for sending me off. You helped weigh my bag, stay with me and just spend time with me. I really miss you. I'm really glad we got to spend more time together this time and I truly appreciate those early morning calls for breakfast, shopping and then picking my sister up from school, lunch, go karting and just bumming around doing nothing. You know you are such a blessing in my life and I love you so much. I really do.

I accepted their answers too, though they were often in contradiction and even self-contradictory.

For now,I’m glad to have you in my life. I guess its how imperfect things are that makes everything perfectly unique on its own. Things that were hard to bear are sweet to remember. Where we love is home, home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts. To look backward for a while is to refresh the eye, to restore it, and to render it the more fit for its prime function of looking forward.

Happy New Year peeps! Got so much to upload on but my internet connection is pretty bad. New Year Eve countdown at Mojo with a group of friends. We went go-carting about a week ago where I ended up with bruises all over because I crashed the cart. Haha so well peeps, if u see a yellow car number 38, stay away. haha. It was hilarious because even my helmet flew out. Just 2 days ago, we went abseiling on top of Fairy Cave. Thank God I managed to get away with only one bruise on my knee when i slammed on the wall. haha. Joanne and Stella kicked themselves into a bush full of thorns and Jo had her hip injured. Bob on the other hand was stuck 90 metres above ground and an instructor had to come to her rescue. I almost had a heart attack watching her from below. Well, 2008 had been a good year. It feels so good to be back home with all my girlfriends. Come to think of it, I haven't started missing Melbourne yet. haha.

Believe me, it was painful running under ice rain.

And yes, my brother does not update his blog anymore but just so u know, he's still here and still a pain in the arse. We had World War 5 a few days ago where he moved his bed to the living room to sleep. Things are all good now and as childish as it may sound, we're best friends again. Darny left about a week ago back to New Zealand. She's been in Melbourne for about 4 months now and I met her through hanging out with the FS Crew early August. And so, they initially planned for a road trip around Melbourne for her farewell but I guess it was all last minute so it was settled in for a karaoke session down in KBox.
